hmmm
musim sa priznat, ze som z celeho festivalu dost sklamany. problemy nastali uz v piatok pri akreditacii, kde sedela absolutne neschopna babenka za novucickym notebookom apple, pricom vobec netusila ako taka vec funguje. evidentne pouzivala maca prvy krat v zivote. tym padom sa tam vytvorila rada, kde sa cakalo 20-30 minut!!!
dalej som absolune nepochopil ten megalomansky napad vytvoril 4 stage. pytam sa naco, pre boha, tam boli tie 4 stage, ked aj tak 2 z nich vzdy nefungovali a ak aj fungovali iba rozptylili aj to relativne male mnozstvo ludi co tam bolo. tento megalomansky napad mal za nasledok iba to, ze: ludia nestihali vidiet to co chceli, na kazdom stagi bolo len par ludi, ludia sa museli neustale niekam presuvat, na mnohych stagoch boli interpreti, ktory sa daju vidiet, hocikedy na hociakej akcii (tym myslim, to mnozstvo slovenskych djs). dalsia vec, ktoru som nepochopil a ani nikto z mojich znamych bol stage CLUB. z akeho dovodu bola aparatura orientovana po sirke a nie po dlzke stanu??? preco najvacsia hviezda LTJ Bukem hral na tom najhorsom stagi??? a nie napriklad na stagi LIVE??? wtf?
chalani, mali by ste si uvedomit, ze wilsonic nikdy neoslovi viac ako 2000 ludi a tomu aj prisposobit celu organizaciu a dramaturgiu festaku. uplne v pohode by stacili dva stage, jeden vonku a vnutri a mohlo to byt ovela lepsie.

caute zdravim vsetkych
pre mna wilsonic znamena nieco take ako najlepsi festival na slovensku, aj tento rok som sa uz nemohol dockat a teraz ked uz len nostalgicky spominam nan a revitalizujem svoj organizmus az mi slza vbehla do oci...bolo to super ale nasiel som aj zopar drobnosti, ktore mohli byt lepsie zorganizovane, napr. ja som sa len velmi tazko orientoval medzi stagemi a viem ze som dost dobrych veci aj zmeskal, podla mna ltj bukem bol absolutne nevhodne situovany do malej areny ovela viac by sa mi hodil na hlavne podium...mimochodom ltj-ov set sa mi zdal dost jednotvarny,poznam z jeho produkcie aj lepsie veci ale to je len moj subj. pohlad. najlepsi dojem vo mne zanechali parov stelar & wolf myer orchestra(najma super spevacka),slovensky nikki tresor na cele s umelcom, vyborny bol aj herbert ale mne sa od neho najviac paci album bodily functions takze mi tam nieco chybalo.inac dole klobuk

musim povedat, ze tato stranka je uplne otrasna... je neprehladna a clovek, ktory si chce len pozriet program, sa unavi... musi prejst cez celu skalu DJs, MCs, WJs a podobnych jayov... vsetci v line-up... nie v programe... tazko nou prilakat na megalomansky festival cloveka, ktory je mimo prezentovaneho hudobneho trendu... ak bude festival ako tato stranka, tak sa tam clovek strati... a nemusi byt ani sfetovany...

I'm not sure there is much interesting to be seen in local galleries, though I'm no insider... Occasionally, something interesting is on display in the national (http://www.sng.sk) and city galleries (http://www.gmb.sk), but not too often. Then there are two quite narrowly profiled galleries -- Múzeum Milana Dobeša with some now-not-so-modern constructivism (http://www.milandobes.sk), and Danubiana (http://www.danubiana.info) in the south outskirts near the Čunovo dam, which is, in good weather, worth the trip maybe more for the surroundings and the location than for the exhibition... And then there is a bunch of small spaces like Priestor (http://priestor.crazycurators.org), Medium (http://www.vsvu.sk/gal.php?dep=01-04) or HIT (http://www.galeriahit.com) that try to do some new media stuff as well.

Thanks for help. I understand slovak very well (live near sk-ua border), so understand and little spoken language...
And if it is not so hard, can you mention some "places of interest" in Bratislava: example: museum of modern art, some art book shops... and other interesting for not so old foreign tourist places

bo odjebat zvuk za 250 000 sa este nepodarilo nikomu :))...
w mene celej 'zostavy' sa chcem podakovat za prispevok, ktory mi dnes vycaroval usmev na tvari. verim, ze sa to nikomu este nepodarilo_ono je to dost komplikovane a ani jeden z nasej zostavy este nieje na takej technickej urovni tohto levelu, aby sa mu to podarilo. pred malou chvilou som sa pokusal telefonicky od zamestnancov planet music clubu investigativne vyzistit, ci to nebola nahodou ina zostava od ktorej sa mame comu ucit, ale zial-( w kazdom pripade sa chcem o5 podakovat za priazen a kompliment...

The site is in a park near the centre of the city so the chances of succesfully putting up a tent or a sound system are quite slim. No showers or public available electricity I know of.
The door price is 699 Sk (~ 19 euro). One euro is more or less 37 Sk.
The only camp in Bratislava is on the opposite end of the city, so your best is some hostel. There are some "regular" hostels in the centre of the city that charge from 15 - 25 euro per person (http://www.patiohostel.com http://www.backpackers.sk).
There are student hostels as well that are much cheaper (as cheap as 6 euro per person), but they are not in the centre, the quality of the accomodation can be quite low and the staff won't be speaking English probably, so it can be tricky to arrange for a foreigner. But you need to be lucky and get a room in the "student" part. Some of them have "hotel" parts as well and those are more or less as expensive as a regular hostel in the centre.

Those two, AFAIK, are "normal" hostels, not university ones. Though I have no experience with the quality of accomodation, you probably won't get anything better near the centre for the same price.
If don't mind the quality very much, you can get a room for as cheap as 6 euro/person/night in the university hostels, if you're lucky and they have some empty student rooms available. On the other hand, they are further away from the centre and the staff won't speak English for sure, so arranging this can be a bit tricky for a foreigner...

Maybe there are some more, I'm not sure. I don't really do a lot of brick-and-mortar store shopping.
Their web sites are not really up-to-date IMHO. Records is focused mainly on techno, Vinylstore is heavily drum'n'bass and breakbeat oriented and notape is more on the tech-house and nu-jazz side.
Neither has much "advanced" electronic music (IDM/ambient/minimal) in stock, but notape is the best bet, maybe followed by a small selection in Records. All the people I know do their shopping in Wien or use mail order for these genres.
There is one small distribution company called Wegart that does a lot of indie music -- see http://www.wegart.sk for their catalogue. They don't have their own shop, just a small office in the city centre. You can stop by or give them a call to see if anyone's "home" -- http://mapy.zoznam.sk/index.pl?mp_id=478143. Ahoj, predpredaj permanentky STUDENT20 sme predlzili az do 9. 6. do 19.00. Ale da sa kupit iba v predpredaji cez ticketportal. Tak nevahaj.

few questions
First: i choose 2 hostels: Patio at Spitalska 35 - near centre, and Dowtown Hostel... at Panenska 31... is that normal hostels, is there any another better "hostel" near centre? (average 15 euro per day in choosed hostels)

From the city centre, it's best to just walk there crossing the Danube -- either via Novy most or Stary most. Otherwise, the nearest bus stop is Sad Janka Krala, bus line 50, but it's request only, so you have to press the 'request stop' button inside vehicle after crossing the Danube river.

Otherwise, IMHO shame on the web site administrators for this. There's no useful info about accomodation, no map how to get to the site either. It was the same last year. Instead, they put useless info like how to get to Bratislava from Germany here. Moreover, the general stuff about the whole Wilsonic concept is interleaved with the actual info about this year's festival which is MUCH more important now. It just confuses the regular visitor. Much to be improved here...
