Festival Wilsonic sa uskutoční od 11. do 13. júna v priestoroch bratislavskej pláže Summer Club Incheba. Rádio_FM v spolupráci s festivalom Wilsonic tento rok pripravilo pre svojich návštevníkov malý darček, kompiláciu slovenskej elektronickej hudby.

Wilsonic Festival otvára svoje brány už zajtra, v piatok 12. júna o 15:00. Príďte si pozrieť viac než 60 interpretov a kapiel z celého sveta na štyroch pódiách, nový priestor mestskej pláže a príjemnú atmosféru festivalu v prostredí centra mesta.

Born of the tendency to use mid-range unstable synths, the Wonky sound first emerged in the summer of 2008.

House music emerged from the ashes of disco in the 70s and 80s- and thrived under the influence of both soul and funk. The house sound originated in Chicago, US as a celebration of dance, love and sexuality woven together with repetitive arrangements, steady bass and drum kicks.

The recipe of the Wilsonic line-up is to highlight CEE music, with a wisp of audience-loved performers, a pinch of retro-sensibility, with slices of edgy new sound, all around European taste, richly blended with a bit of the rest of the world’s flavors. The Wilsonic 2009 line-up is a well-balanced musical meal filled with delicacies- both homegrown and beyond the border.

Though most of the people see Wilsonic as the electronic music festival, this is somewhat a shallow perception. This year the line-up is filled with more live acts that ever, bringing true depth to the festival stage.

Wilsonic has focused on CEE scene since the very beginning. The Wilsonic Showcases features Hungary this year, and brings forth several acts worth catching. That is not where it ends! Thanks to the Internet and open borders between Central and Eastern Europe, trends in the CEE scene are brought to the rest of the world.
